Registration Open for Shedd Vocation Event

Registration for the Wednesday, February 12, 2025, vocation event at Shedd Aquarium is NOW OPEN. Check your email for a link to the Google form to sign up today! Registration is limited to the first 75 participants; registration closes at 11:59 PM, 2/5, or when capacity is reached. Details about the event:

• The event will be held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Shedd Aquarium.
• Light snacks will be provided.
• At the vocation event, we will hear presentations from a variety of professionals who work at Shedd.
• The event includes free access to the aquarium for the afternoon. ACCA will reimburse attendees the cost of transportation and parking, up to a maximum of $300 per member school. Parking information can be found on the Shedd website: https://www.sheddaquarium.org/plan-a-visit/directions-and-parking.
• This event is NOT LIMITED to students with biology or ecology majors.  As a non-profit organization, Shedd has careers in many STEM and STEM-adjacent fields: business, mathematics, computer science, social sciences, education, etc.  
• Space for the event is limited to 75 student and faculty participants.  If interest exceeds this number of people, we may need to close registration early.  Registration will be first come, first served.
