Spring 2026 Marine Ecology Course Application Open

Applications are now being accepted for the Shedd Aquarium’s 2026 Marine Ecology ACCA Course.

Offered annually in the spring, the Marine and Island Ecology 4-credit ACCA course introduces general ecological concepts and conservation management topics pertaining to marine ecosystems. Classes are held at Shedd Aquarium on six Saturdays in March and April. Research methods are introduced and applied during a week-long field excursion to the Florida Keys aboard Shedd’s research vessel, the Coral Reef II. Student applications are due November 10, 2025 to Hilary Wind (hwind@sheddaquarium.org). Students should receive approval from their advisors before applying.
