Lecture: Topological Quantum Computation

An international scholar in Quantum Computing and Quantum Information Science will visit Lewis University next week as he wraps up a visit with other collaborators in the Midwest. Dr. Taha Rouabah, an Assoc. Prof. of Physics at University of Constantine 1 in Algeria, will present a colloquium on Wednesday, May 8 at 6pm at Lewis, entitled Taming the Quantum: Unveiling the Power of Topological Quantum Computation. He will provide an introduction to quantum computing and quantum information science for a primarily undergraduate student audience. The speaker will be available during dinner at 5pm to meet with ACCA students and faculty.
